Galle Gem Museum

Galle is one the historical place of the country, you can see wonderful Galle Dutch fort, even you can visit museum bazaar and shopping streets. Was built 1958 by Portuguese then extensively fortified by Dutch during the 17th century from 149 onwards. Archeological and architectural heritage monument which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work done by archeological department of Sri Lanka.

Next you can visit Sea Turtle Farm. You can take great natural experience with many kind of turtles. Later you can visit herbal and spice garden. There is Ayurveda Doctors they will explain about local herbal methods explain about herbal trees. You will have a free spice tea and 10 minutes head, shoulder and leg massage. Last one is moonstone factory visit, you can see, different kind of moonstone and Gems and you can see the process of how to make gem cutting and how to make local Jewelers.
